This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hands-on activities can allow students to experience learning in a more interesting way. The use of other writing utensils can engage students in unimaginable ways. Students already struggle with writing and coming up with ideas, let alone wasting materials like paper to just brainstorm for ideas. This is where the use of whiteboards and markers can be really helpful. They are not only fun, but can allow students to practice their writing skills, draw, and boost overall class participation.

These GT students need the appropriate materials to succeed in middle school, and one way is to provide them with these tools that can be used in a variety of ways.
