My Project

My Kindergarten classroom is filled with creative, thoughtful, and eager-to-learn students. My students are predominately Hispanic, low-income, and over 80% of my students qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program. I currently teach English Language Learners (54% ELL). All my students come to school ready to learn. Their motivation and eagerness inspire me to provide the best educational experiences.

My Kindergarten students love to make words.

These materials will help them create and make words in a fun, hands-on way of learning. Students will enjoy using the letters to build words. As they play with the letters, they can work on building their fluency in reading CVC words. Research shows that multi-sensory learning activities help improve student learning.
