My Project

This project will give my students a hands-on approach to learning about sound waves. Using Boomwackers and balloons, my students will be able to experience real sound waves, not just read about them.

Sound waves cannot be seen, but by using music, my students will be able to hear and make sound waves.

Boomwackers are music sticks used to make different pitches due to their different lengths. My students will be able to hear and feel the sound waves.

Being able to provide real experiences for my students helps them remember by doing.
