Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our Library Makerspace provides students with an opportunity to create and collaborate using engaging materials. There is a need for functional furniture that is easy to move to allow for collaborative projects.

A wave table in our space will foster hands-on learning in an interactive way.

Our goal is to enhance student creativity and collaboration by integrating materials like a wave table into our library makerspace. A wave table will provide a versatile platform for students to engage in interactive and imaginative activities, fostering teamwork and creative problem-solving.

Collaborative and creative activities are crucial for developing problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward learning. The addition of a wave table will address this need by providing an engaging medium for students to express themselves and collaborate in novel ways. Our students love the library and the opportunity to read great books and create awesome projects. They would love to have a wave table as a space to work together to create in our library!
