Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

For two months my students have been Remote Learning. In the classroom, they were struggling to learn second and third grade curriculum due to attentional, behavioral, sensory, processing, and learning issues. At home, they are struggling, even more, to attend and stay focused and motivated. Many of my students' parents are essential workers and so are struggling to work and now help us teach their children with special needs. All of my students are eligible for free lunch. I

am working very hard to make this time as stress free and meaningful as possible.

My Project

We are in the midst of a very stressful time in which there is a great deal of insecurity and fear. I want to provide an opportunity for my students to have fun with their siblings and/or parents. Spot It is a game that most people can play pretty easily, it can be played in a short time, and is fast-paced.

My students are experiencing high levels of stress and I would like to counter that by providing a simple, easily played game that people of all ages and abilities can play together.
