Making SOcializing So Cool

Help me give my students learn social skills on new and fun furniture!

My Project

My students are high school age who have severe Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. They are working on socializing with their peers and new and fun ways all the time. This year, we need flexible furniture to encourage our students to socialize with their peers in common areas. I’m requesting several different chairs and tables for our students to play games on.

My students also need some seating and activities that will appease their sensory seeking nature like rocking chairs.

We work in a low-income school district that has limited resources to purchase new furniture. Receiving new furniture that is able to be easily cleaned will give our students somewhere to both have fun and learn.
