This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are into the second month of school and my students are still missing essential furniture such as chairs! A well-run classroom needs the proper furniture to accommodate students' needs, specifically chairs and a whiteboard.

My small group table is in desperate need of chairs and a whiteboard to display materials for my ELLs.

This is essential to increasing engagement and improving outcomes for my students.

My students come from different backgrounds and some have even made long and dangerous journeys to get here. They deserve an education with fundamental furniture to make learning possible. They will be using the stools and whiteboard every day while learning reading, writing, and math. This will improve outcomes for my learners and help support their educational journey.
