This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love teaching my students all that I can about science. I have a passion for science and want to be sure to try to share my love for science with my students. By helping these students who do not usually have the means to afford most of the materials we use in class such as our expo markers, white board erasers, highlighters, and index cards you are helping make their learning experience less stressful so that they can focus on the learning.

Your donation will help my students not only learn more about the world around them but give them the courage to ask questions about how and why things work the ways they do.

I teach my students the importance of not spreading the germs we can bring into the classroom or with others. So with your help I will not only be able to teach them what is needed to keep themselves healthy and attending class regularly but also when it does come to that flu and cold season we can be fully prepared with enough tissues and disinfecting wipes, thus helping keep the students in class learning and not out sick.

As I acquire more teaching materials I love to keep them as organized as possible. This not only helps me keep my classroom orderly but it allows me to find the materials I may need for an upcoming lab. So by keeping the desk materials organized in the caddys, and the lab supplies organized in the storage bins I can better focus and prepare for more hands on teaching.
