This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my 3rd year teaching seventh grade life science, but it is not my first year in a classroom! Each my students has their own personality and bring so much to the classroom.

I work in an urban district where more than half of the students qualify for free or reduced price lunch.

Many of my students can not afford their own school supplies, items that are necessary for their success. This project will help with my current and future classes with creating science projects and their interactive notebooks. The students really enjoy the hands-on activities that we do in class and these supplies will be very beneficial to these activities.
