Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I would like to bring science alive by providing my students with the opportunity to see the whole life cycle of a butterfly as well as have resources to supplement their learning.

Our school's students are very hard working and maintain focus on education even though it is a school where many of the students participate in the free or reduced lunch program.

We aspire to build a community where we support our students in every way we can and I know my students will be very grateful to have supplies to improve their learning of science.

My Project

The resources that I am requesting will give my students the chance to experience the painted lady butterfly life cycle up close and personal with real butterflies. They will also be able to have resources such as books, visuals, and realia to supplement their learning.

It is very important to have any support we can get because science is so very important and is a favorite subject of my students.

I want to do anything to get my students excited about learning and giving them real life experiences
