Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In fourth grade, our mathematicians use what they've learned in the past few grades to solve word problems and higher order thinking questions. Many times, my students struggle. They come to my classroom with a variety of learning abilities. The manipulatives and chart stand will allow my students the ability to take charge of their learning.

Understanding place value helps to support all students in math.

The ten frames, place value blocks and graphing chart will allow students to see and feel math!

By providing my students a hands on approach to math, they will reach their goals and become stronger mathematicians!
