Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my class is working on making their thinking visible. We are doing literature circles where students read in small groups and use post-its instead of annotating in the books. We are also doing gallery walks and we also use whiteboards to show our understanding of the text. I love using tactile learning whenever possible in ELA in order to engage students through a different way. My students are highly motivated and work extremely hard every day, they love working in groups and by having these materials my students will be able to continue to do so.
