My Project

Students who come into the library are looking for a welcoming place! These students are ones who are looking for a place to find new books, spend time reading, and make connections with their fellow student readers.

While our library is off to a great start for being a welcoming place, the items in this project will help to transform the space!

Lighting with table lamps and string lights will offer softer lighting in our reading area instead of the fluorescent lights currently in place. The bookmarks will be added to our bookmark stand, full of exciting bookmarks students can take when they check out a library book. The books in this project are extra copies of some of our most popular titles, including The Spy School vs. SPYDER and The Summer I Turned Pretty. Extra copies of these books will ensure students who are looking for these books won't have to join a long holds list!
