Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year I will be teaching 1st grade math/science and I couldn’t be more excited! I plan on creating a home feeling here in our classroom and helping build a comfortable space for my student's with more flexible seating options. This will also build on our classroom culture. The rug and headphones listed will be used for class meetings, stations time and for our whole group lessons. The flexible seating will help students who are more active. We will rotate through out the year for all to use.
