Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are from all types of home situations. Many have parents who both work, foster situations, children’s home situations, and even homeless. Our students live in the farming area and really do not have a city close by. These students need the social well-being that a school provides.

My Project

The speed cups and balls will be used by small groups so that individuals can work at their own pace to improve their speed. In the case of virtual learners they will have the equipment to work with also and along with their classmates. These small group lessons will help to improve reading and writing skills in the classroom. As the skill is learned the students may have races, add cups or balls, or produce their own games to be played. In this case, speed will improve creativity!! We can’t wait to see what wonderful times and games come from this activity.
