This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Why make math boring, help us make our thinking POP! The laminator and lamination pouches will help our resources be reusable and also become interactive activities that students can interact with. These resources will make our activities and work durable with the number of students and opportunities to be able to interact with the materials. The colored paper make students work pop and the bright and vibrant materials make math tools and activities more appealing capturing students' attention more effectively.

By combining laminator and colored paper, I can create a dynamic, interactive, and visually stimulating math environment that keeps students engaged and helps them better understand key concepts.

My intervention students are special to this project because they bring unique needs, challenges, and strengths that make tools like these especially impactful for their learning experience. The students will benefit from customized materials. My students often need repeated practice to master skills, and durable, reusable resources allow them to engage with concepts multiple times without damaging materials. These materials will also allow students to be creative and proud of their work when displayed and shown to others fostering a positive math identity.
