My Project

We are using the Scholastic Scope Magazine and Scholastic Science World Magazine to increase middle school student interest in relevant and modern science and current events. All of our 600 students will benefit because the magazines and digital resources will be shared with our sixth, seventh and eighth grade teams and our whole school Walk to Read literacy tutoring groups. When students see subjects they've heard about or are already interested in, they will be motivated to read about them. We can use these as a jumping off point in classes.
