This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have an awesome group of 4th grade students working on different academic levels with almost half of them working at least 1 grade level below. It's a joy working with my students who come from different backgrounds and have a diverse learning style. My students come to class full of curiosity and eager to learn. They love hands-on activities and engaging projects that challenge them to think creatively and to solve solutions.

This new age of remote learning is much harder for struggling learners who require visual reinforcement to make connections.

My Project

As we get closer to the start of the new school year, it is essential to have the proper tools for virtual teaching to be effective. The iPad pro is portable, easy to carry around, and connect to my laptop. With this device, I will be able to create, record, and edit engaging videos for distance learning. These videos will be on skills and concepts that the students need to learn in 4th grade. It will also allow me to annotate lessons, with the apple pencil, while teaching live and/or recorded lessons and be able to save them for future references.

Once we're able to return to school, I will be able to continue to use the iPad to work on different subjects that supports and enhances their learning with technology.

It'll be used for projects and presentations with the applications that Apple provides.
