My Students

My students are some pretty fabulous people. They come from very little, and are used to being limited. I want them to know that they are as fabulous as I know they are by giving them the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment as much as possible.

My goal as their teacher is to show them they have no limits!

I want to provide the best education possible and give them an experience in Biology and Anatomy and Physiology that will change their lives!

My Project

I want to be able to allow my AP Biology students to work towards their 25% lab requirement to prepare for the AP Biology exam. There are four Big Ideas associated with Biology. I plan to do at least two labs in each area-this funding will allow me to do my minimum and more!

My Anatomy & Physiology students deserve the opportunity to apply what they learn in class to dissections.

They need Carolina kits such as a Cell Respiration 8-Station Kit, Carolinas Perfect Solution sheep hearts, and Carolinas Perfect Solution sheep eyes to work together on labs and dissections in order to further understand aspects of Biology. In 10th grade Biology, I want to expose my students to as many topics as possible-to do that I need labs! Both of these classes need on hands-on assignments to keep them engaged and motivated about the material.
