Making Music With Basketballs. Learning About Rhythm While Moving!

Help me give my students basketballs to make some music! Looking for the opportunity for students to have fun in gym class by making rhythms and beats with basketballs to tie in the music curriculum.

My Project

I'm looking for the opportunity to get a class set of basketballs so that students can use the basketballs in gym class to learn about different rhythms and beats in music. Students can create percussion pieces by dribbling the basketballs, working in small groups collectively to create masterpieces. Students will be learning about music while moving and working on their motor skills. What a great way for students to have a break from sitting at their desks! The possibilities are endless to play and learn.
