My Students

I am extremely lucky to teach students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade in a vibrant neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, in an area full of families and people proud of their community.

The students in my music class are natural performers full of spunk and natural talent.

They may come from disadvantaged backgrounds, but nothing is stopping my students from being amazing! Help my awesome little students grow as musicians, learners, and performers, and you certainly won't regret it!

My Project

These ocean drums will be helpful tools as my young students continue to learn about the elements of music, including texture and mood. Ocean drums are unique as they can be used in numerous ways and offer a calming sensory experience for the students.

These ocean drums will come in handy as my students learn about musical mood and texture.

These materials will make a BIG DIFFERENCE in our music lessons. The ocean drums will also be an awesome addition to our growing collection of instruments.

I look forward to this project being funded and can't wait for my little musicians to start using these unique materials.
