Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are thrilled to begin creating art in our school again, which aims to paint vibrant and imaginative murals throughout our school hallways. At Cutler Bay Senior High, our students are exceptional not only for their dedication to academics but also for their passion for art and our school community.

Our goal is to breathe new life into our school's hallways by infusing them with creativity and color.

With your generous donations, we plan to acquire high-quality paint, paper, and painters tape to make this vision a reality. Here's why this project is so special:

1. **Fostering Creativity:** We believe that creativity is a vital aspect of education, and these murals will serve as a constant source of inspiration for our students.

2. **Student Involvement:** Our art-loving students will actively participate in designing and painting the murals, promoting teamwork and artistic expression.

3. **School Pride:** By enhancing the aesthetics of our hallways, we reinforce our students' pride in being a part of Cutler Bay Senior High.

4. **Community Engagement:** This project isn't just for us; it's for the entire community to enjoy and appreciate. It brings us closer together.

5. **Financial Literacy.** Students will learn the importance and value of materials, as students will be given an allotted amount of "funds" to use toward each mural created. Students must budget for paint, brushes, and other materials needed towards their artwork and stay within budget.
