Making Movement Meaningful and Fun!

Help me give my students a fun and friendly way to spend their Movement Class periods. We currently have one ball and two frisbees. It would be amazing to have more options!

My Project

We will use the supplies to enhance our two daily Movement classes. Students will teach their peers to use the supplies they each specifically requested.

The students will learn new activities while increasing their fitness levels and sense of belonging within the school community.

Small groups of students will be able to engage in a variety of activities with adult support.

Movement is essential to the well-being of these students in particular. The students are all ECE-identified and don't always feel successful in academic tasks. Movement class is their favorite part of the day and it truly helps them to focus in class while having something to look forward to mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
