My Project

This project is very important because it will benefit a large number of students throughout the school year. As a school counselor, many students are in and out of my office throughout the day, and throughout the school year. It's vital that my office remains stocked with calming tools, fidgets, markers, coloring supplies, playdough, and fun things to squish!

A counselor's office is many things to many students.

It's a place to relax, regroup, and regulate emotions. Having supplies replenished each year ensures that I have the tools and resources that students need. I am able to help students find tools that benefit them, and through practice, they are able to learn how to do these calming strategies on their own. Counseling is all about helping students become the best version of themselves. That's what I'm striving to do each day..
