Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of wonderfully bright and optimistic kiddos who come from struggling low-income households. Many of my students are learning English as a second language. All of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

Students are eager to learn and grow.

They inspire me to give my best each and every day because they are depending on me, and our future depends on them.

My students are happy children who love to learn!

My Project

Every year my students create amazing writing and art projects. I document each and every moment with dozens of pictures. As a parent myself, I know how happy and proud I feel when my child comes homes with pictures of themselves at school and samples of their writing. These work samples and pictures give me a glimpse of what my child does during their school day, and their academic growth. At the end of the school year, I hand over a disheveled pile of student work and pictures to parents.

By using the thermal binding machine, I will now be capable of giving students and families a curated book with all of their child's beautiful pictures and work from the entire school year!

My students will feel so proud to see all of their memories in a keepsake memory yearbook. They will treasure this special memory book for years to come!
