My Project

This proposal seeks funding to provide students with the materials and supplies they need to create their own stained glass windows while learning about the fascinating history of cathedrals during the Medieval period. Through this hands-on project, students will gain an immersive experience in both art and history while developing their essential literacy skills as well. The students will use glue, tissue paper, popsicle sticks, and other items to make the learning experience come to life as they are able to make their own creations.

My goal with this project is to help my wonderful students get engaged in their learning of literacy tools and this period of world history.

By allowing them to make these stained glass windows, the learning will be more memorable and exciting.

My students come from a variety of cultural, geographical, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This makes my classroom special as we all come together to learn and grow. I believe my students would greatly enjoy the experience that could be provided by this project.
