My Project

My goal is to support students with manipulatives which will help to visualize abstract concepts and engage with them in a hands-on way. All students do not learn the same way. Some students struggle with traditional methods of teaching. Visual learners often have difficulty understanding concepts that are presented only through spoken words. Studies show that students have a strong ability to remember and recall information presented visually. Using manipulatives is a way to deepen the understanding of concepts they wouldn't normally grasp while reading. These tools will also give them more flexibility to be creative and express themselves.
