My Students

Do you remember the anxiety you felt when you were learning Pre-Algebra? My goal is to make the stress and anxiety of math less intimidating for my students, maybe even fun!

Our school provides engaging learning experiences to a diverse community of learners.

Our school is a Title I urban school. Our students are eager to learn and they want to be successful. They enjoy having personalized study guides that they can reference in their notebooks. My goal is to help them organize the new material in a way that makes sense and sticks with them. These study skills and organizational skills will be useful throughout their lives.

My Project

Our students need help organizing and connecting information they already know to new math concepts of Pre-Algebra. Students will receive study guides to help them work through steps of the new material. The laminator will help protect the study guides that will be created for future students.

Students will be able to feel confident knowing they have all the resources needed to master new math!

The cases of paper will ensure enough materials to create foldable pages, charts and other manipulatives for student notebooks to increase understanding. The colored markers and colored paper will help create color-coded systems to help students’ organization and mastery of skills. We will also use the dry erase pockets to practice graphing concepts to easily correct mistakes while learning.
