My Students

My students are wonderful children who are in need of love and affection. My goal is to help our students be confident in their learning and my passion for teaching them. Many of our students live in poverty. 93.4% of our students receive free or reduced price lunch.

Our goal is to be sure they feel loved and supported when they are at school and provide them with a safe and comfortable environment for learning.

Our students truly appreciate when others donate materials and believe in them. Thank you in advance!

My Project

The goal of this project is to motivate my students in math by making it fun and hands-on! The materials I have asked for will allow students to independently practice their math skills in addition, subtraction, measurement, time, money and math communication! I have asked for these specific games and centers to give my students the opportunity to learn by using fun materials and be able to feel success along the way. I think the materials I have chosen will grab my students' interest and they will be smiling and laughing while they enjoy putting their math skills to the test! What's better than a group of happy 2nd graders!? The centers and power pen packs will allow students to practice their skills which will allow me to work with students more intensively. This would greatly improve our use of our math time and student success in multiple areas of the math standards.
