My Students

My students are motivated by games. Will you help us build our classroom collection of math games?

My students are a group of diverse 4th graders attending a neighborhood school.

The majority of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunches. We want to teach them that math can be just as fun as playing video games or watching TV after school.

My Project

With these math games and puzzles my students will be able to learn important math concepts while having fun and learning to love the subject. These games will also serve as wonderful enrichment opportunities for students that quickly finish their work. The concepts addressed in these games will be helpful throughout the entire year.

This project will help my students build their knowledge of important math concepts including fractions, measurement, multiplication, division, and various types of word problems.

These games and puzzles will also help to encourage students to love math.
