My Project

This will be my first year teaching middle school. I am excited for the challenge and to get students excited about doing Math. For so many students, Math curriculum and concepts can be hard to access. Many students cannot see the real world application and have a hard time grasping these abstract concepts.

I know bright and engaging manipulatives, such as colorful posters and large 3D shapes, students will literally have the math in their hands.

They will be able to access the material in a tangible way and bring life to a subject that many students find difficult. This project will breath new life into a subject that is near and dear to my heart. Students will benefit for years to come with these amazing manipulatives.
