Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Using math games, manipulatives, and interactive reference bulletin boards is fundamental for engaging students in my math classroom. However, my eager-to-learn students often miss out on these opportunities because of a lack of materials and resources.

The Cricut machine will help ensure my students never again go without a chance to engage in a fun math lesson.

This Cricut will enhance my students' learning through the use of the countless math manipulatives, games, and interactive math bulletin boards I will be able to create for ALL of them!

This Cricut and accessories will help me alleviate the constant worry of ever having enough for my sweet students. My students are always willing to give up turns to play or use a manipulative just so other classmates can have a turn - this is not fair for them and has become an equity issue that I would like to address with the use of this Cricut machine. With this Cricut, my students and I can avoid these problems and focus on increasing our love of learning math!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus but will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement! Students can focus on their learning without worrying if there are enough math games or manipulatives for everyone. My goal as an educator is to increase their math literacy and desire to learn - this project will help me achieve just that!
