My Project

During our day we love to have time to work together in collaborative groups exploring and creating things. This project will help add to the items I have for STEAM activities and give my 2nd graders a chance to design structures or habitats for animals we are studying in science. My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn about the world and the living things around them. The books will be a fun way to introduce some of the standards I teach throughout the year, like landforms, ecosystems, life cycles, and so much more.

This is a great quote, "Creativity is Intelligence having fun!" I know my 2nd graders will enjoy building with the Magna Tiles, and working together in their small groups will stimulate great conversations with their peers.

They will work together to solve problems, design and explain their creations, and spark that love for math and science that will help prepare them for their future.
