My Project

My goal is to make learning more hands-on this year and help to give each student opportunities to engage in learning in a concrete way. From my first year of teaching (the first year of the pandemic) until now, my students have been using manipulatives handmade by me since sharing was discouraged during pandemic or borrowed manipulatives from neighbor classrooms due to low funding after Covid-19. With this donation, I'm planning to give student interactive learning opportunities in whole group and small group setting with potent visuals. The bookbags will give students ownership of the classroom library. The schedule and ten frame charts will give more opportunity for student interaction with class objectives while the bouncy chair bands will allow my high percentage of active and energetic students to release energy while actively engaging in learning.
