My Students

I have yet to meet this bunch. I'm switching schools but staying in the same grade level. I'm excited for this new change and the opportunities it will bring. I'm aiming to get my classroom set up with manipulatives that I can use in small groups, centers, lessons, and projects.

As last year was virtual or limited for many of these kids, I'm looking to set my kids up with the quality lessons and activities that will really bring up my kids' academic levels.

As I have learned over the last 15 years of teaching, kids need to learn hands on.

My Project

I am requesting math and language arts manipulatives which are going to help my students get hands on practice with money, time, counting, and place value in math and with practice to sounding out and creating words in reading. Students will use these resources to understand how numbers and letters work. These manipulatives will be used in games to engage them even more in their learning.

Manipulatives are the greatest learning tool in a classroom!

The kids need them in their hands to have their ah ha moments. This helps students connect what they see and do on paper with mental strategies down the road!
