This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I really enjoy working with my students and creating fun lessons. We are learning how to measure length. The materials in this project include measuring tape, color pencils, markers, glue sticks and chairs. Having students measure items in their everyday environment is a great way to help students get excited with learning.

Learning is fun and participating in fun and engaging lessons will help my students be excited about learning.

I want my students to enjoy coming to school everyday. Having students measure the color pencils, markers, glue sticks in this project will give them a chance to learn the concept of measuring length. The chairs in this project are unique. They look modern. Students will discuss the shapes they see in the chair base, the back and arm rests. Students will use the measuring tape to measure the different dimension of this chair. It will be wonderful to see my student be excited about measuring these items and hear them explain to others what is needed to measure length. Thank you very much for supporting my students interest in learning. Thank you for supporting schools so that teachers can get the materials they need to engage students in learning.
