My Students

I teach 16 amazing 3rd graders who are from a rural and low income county. At our school, we strive to give each child a positive and welcoming environment. Our school can be categorized as being small and tight-knit. We support each child, teacher, and parent to the best of our ability. Most of the children have been in classes together since they started school, which makes the relationships strong and sibling-like. We all support and challenge each other every single day!

My Project

These materials will benefit students in my classroom tremendously by increasing their enthusiasm to learn. We will be able to work in a small group using the dry erase horseshoe table. Students will be able to draw or work out exactly what they are thinking without having to use the old school paper and pencil format. The stools will make it possible for my students to have some flexible seating within the classroom. Students grow and flourish in a classroom they want to be in. My students will be able to work more effectively with these materials in my classroom.
