Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that moment in the classroom where you see a child's face light up because they are feeling successful and proud of themselves. Repetition of skills is very important in the younger grades. However, keeping a student focused and interested can be difficult. Students need to practice skills in a fun and engaging way in order to retain the information learned.

I want my class to love learning and to be successful.

I am asking for tabletop pocket charts so that the students can order, sort and manipulate educational games that I have made. These pocket charts can be used anywhere in the room and may be used by one or more students. Working collaboratively adds to the skills learned and the excitement of learning. The Magnetic Write & Wipe boards will be great for the students to practice their writing skills as well as explore with our magnetic letters and math manipulatives. The possibilities are endless.

The items I am requesting will add a new dimension to how my students learn. They will be actively engaged in what they are learning and having fun at the same time.
