My Students

My classroom is filled with energetic kindergarten students that are curious about EVERYTHING! I use a combination of whole group, small group, partner, and independent working time daily. Many of my students have diverse learning styles and this tool would help to support their learning.

I have 20 students in my kindergarten classroom this year.

The students come from a wide range of backgrounds. However, like many other children, they are hardworking students who love to learn and explore! We spend lots of time looking for information to solve problems and to help us answer questions about things we are wondering.

My Project

The OSMO learning system will allow my students engaging and interactive working time to improve reading and math skills. These educational tools work with iPads and provide engaging tools for students to use independently. Students will be using the Osmo during literacy stations while I am engaged in small group instruction. Students will also be able to work collaboratively together to solve problems through the Osmo gaming apps. Osmo helps students strengthen learning and understanding by providing opportunities to students with various learning styles.

My students are always craving new ways to learn, and technology is a great way to help them practice skills without them even realizing what is happening!

Some of my students need additional help in reading and math and this systems will help them to be able to learn and practice skills that have been taught in a fun and engaging way.
