Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth-grade students have the highest drive to learn. They are hard-working and inspiring individuals with an endless thirst for knowledge that is only overshadowed by their capacity to grow and learn at rapid rates. My students are a diverse group who range from high achieving, to students with special needs, and those who struggle academically. They also vary in ethnicity, home language, and socioeconomic status.

They strive to achieve academic excellence but lack the resources to fulfill their needs.

24th Street Elementary School is a Title 1 school located in Inner City Los Angeles and my students don't always have access to the best resources that are needed to learn. I would truly love to provide my students with the best education possible by providing them with the best practices and learning environment that they need. Your donations will not only assist in the growth of my students but impact their lives for the better.

My Project

Acquiring only six Chromebooks for my classroom will be ideal for creating an exemplary learning environment for students. My students then, will be able to access different websites such as Kahoot, Kidblog, and utilize Google Classroom tools while expanding their creativity. These websites are great learning tools that the students enjoy using while developing their skill set.

Students are technology natives and need to have the right resources to put their full potential forward.

This will not only provide my students with the essential resources they need to be successful learners and reach their full potential, but they will also provide engaging tools to differentiate students' abilities to learn.
