This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can we count on you? My students are in need of centers and materials to work with to count and gain knowledge of numbers. Children need to not only verbally count but have hands-on tools to gain a greater understanding of concepts.

My students are the best!

They are enthusiastic about learning and always come with smiles! They come from low economic homes with not many toys and things to play with. They love to be able to come to school and experience new tools to learn and explore.

My Project

The resources that I have selected will help to build the foundations my students will need in math throughout their education and lives. These bright and exciting centers will also teach social skills as they will learn to share and work together. The children will utilize these materials daily during math.

Most of my students come from very poor homes with not much to do other than watch television.

I try to provide a bright, exciting environment for them to come to and explore. I really would like to use these materials to inspire them to want to come to school and to make learning fun for them. Kindergarten is their first impression of education and I hope that you can help me to make it a great one!
