My Project

The students at Franklin Military Academy are curious and motivated by authentic, novel experiences. They learn best by doing things and trying things with their own hands!

To make my human anatomy and physiology class meaningful and memorable, I want to provide them with the actual, physical specimens for microscopic observation and dissection they need to truly understand how the human body works.

With these supplies, my students will gain first-hand experience exploring the tissues and organs that comprise the epithelial, skeletal, muscular, circulatory, nervous, urinary, digestive, and lymphatic systems.

These unique experiences with actual specimens will make all the concepts they are already learning through reading, videos, and simulations truly come alive!

Mr. Wester Franklin Military Academy Grades 9-12
