My Project

In today's world, technology is key. It is in every aspect of our lives. From home to work, it is involved in everything that we do. Technology has so many opportunities to make our lives and our learning that much easier. I want to access this ability for my students by purchasing an iPad for our classroom.

Technology like the tablet will allow the students to gain confidence in themselves and their ability to retain information.

Many students, especially students in Special Education, learn kinesthetically, or by moving their body. Combined with the Osmo technology the classroom already has access to, this iPad will allow students to learn based on manipulating objects in front of them to answer questions on the screen. With the Osmo, the iPad recognizes what the students are doing on the table in front of them.

Not only will the students benefit from an iPad within our classroom, but so will the support staff. The staff within the classroom will have the opportunity to gain access to applications and other beneficial tools the iPad offers. Providing this opportunity will open many doors.
