Making Financial Literacy Real

Help me give my students some excellent resources for furthering their financial literacy knowledge before they become adults and are out on their own in the "real" world.

My Project

The Psychology of Money is an excellent and easy read for my students because it includes lots of stories about real people and things that happen because of how they do or don't spend their money. It helps to reinforce some of the lessons we talk about in class during my Personal Finance class as we discuss saving, budgeting, paying for college, taxes, investing, buying a car, buying/renting a home, and other financial topics.

The Financial Literacy Doodle Notebook will help the notes that my students are taking really stand out.

Many of my students benefit from notes when they use color or pictures to create notes that are more memorable. I think many of them will remember our discussions and more details so much better for having taken notes in this way.
