My Students

I am a Science specialist who teaches grade 4,5 and grade 6 students. Students of different learning abilities visit the lab throughout the day and they all enjoy the hands on activities that they are given to work on. I teach both the gifted and talented students to the self contained classes. Each day they leave feeling good about themselves and I hope one day I will have future scientist who will contribute to our evolving world. My hope is that my lessons that are taught will resonate and stay with my students in the future.

My Project

Our school will be having a Earth day celebration and my classes will work in making some of the school grounds beautiful so they can enjoy and our community can appreciate. Many of our school grounds are not kid friendly and our goal is to create a These rocks will be painted and inspirational words will be used to decorate the rocks as a reminder of how special the Earth is and how we are responsible for it. My hope is that my students will learn that appreciating their surroundings is not only something that should be done one day a year but an important aspect of their lives.
