Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are English Language Learners between the ages of 4 and 5 years old. I teach in a Title I school, which means that most of the students come from low income families. They come from different backgrounds, often adjusting to live with several extended family members under one roof or with two working parents, sometimes being raised by grandparents.

I absolutely love my students and I am grateful for the opportunity to teach them and influence their lives.

My Project

Often times teachers have to pay material out of pocket to keep their students actively learning. I am asking for a $100 gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers. This is a site where teachers buy lessons, assignments and materials. I will use this card to buy phonics and math lessons to help me continue teaching my students in a fun way, making distance learning as normal as possible.

Please, help me diversify the lessons I teach my students to keep them curious and eager to learn.

I will use this gift card to buy materials giving my students quality and engaging lessons on our distance learning through google meets.
