Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The focus this year is to help students establish a routine of making good use of their planners each day. The students will use the first few minutes of each class to draw, learn a new art skill, or learn art history lessons as they utilize their planners to record their findings. The educational resources on Teachers Pay Teachers include informative bellwork activities and art history lessons for students to help make deposits into their creative bank account.

The goal of this project is to help students build a routine of practicing one of the 8 Studio Habits each day. Students will develop craft in drawing techniques, observing various types of art, or responding to an artwork by writing their findings about the art world. As aspiring artists, these resources will help students to build a foundation in art through practicing a routine.
