My Students

My students are apart of the Special Education Pre- K Program at Kahaluu Elementary School. They have a wide range of disabilities including Autism, but deserve the best that we can give them to meet their educational needs. These students are four and five year olds.

My Project

This wall unit will help our classroom by providing a comfortable learning environment. We have several fans but it gets very hot in the classroom. Our little learners are not able to tell us they are hot, but the sweat on their faces and in their hair shows us that they are uncomfortable. We open the windows throughout the day and then at nap we close them and that is when it gets hot in the classroom. We currently try to have a fan on each student. This addition to our classroom will be much appreciated.
