My Project

My students are brilliant learners and explorers in a special education setting! They are critical thinkers, always asking questions to learn more about the world around them. Often, the gifts and talents of students with special needs are not recognized due to other challenges that they may have with reading, writing, math, etc.

We need these laptops to help enhance our students' educational experiences, and to help them shine!

Students will be able to read more challenging texts, in which they are interested, and record their responses using technology. They will also be able to do further research into topics involving social studies and science. They will also be able to access our science resources available through the Amplify science program we use at school, which allows students to experience various situations by changing different variables and choosing certain constants. Our students will be able to knock down obstacles that are usually challenging for them, because they have the use of technology!
