This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a great group of diverse learners from the Northwest side of Chicago. They are kind and respectful six grade students and they love being creative and learning new skills. The materials and supplies that I am requesting will give my students an opportunity to design and personalize their very own buttons. We are almost at the end of the school year and this activity we be something my students can look forward to doing with the classmates.

The buttons that my students create we become a Middle School keepsake for them.

During this activity, my students will have an opportunity to collaborate with each. Helping each other as they have fun creating personalized buttons.
